Well...I guess everyone of us wants something.
But the good news is that the Bible tells us that if we want something
from God, we are to ask Him for it!
Maybe you are thinking but why should I bother God about asking some small things?
And doesn't He already know everything? Yes God knows best what you need but
He is interested in us;even in all small things and He wants to have a
communion with us so that's why He tells us: Ask and you'll get it!
When we ask God for the things we need, we are praying prayers of supplication.
And we probably pray this type of prayer more than any other. But it's ok-
it's one of the ways Jesus instructed us to pray.
In fact James 4:2 says:
You do not have because you do not ask God.
Why don't you make your list of needs to God right now?
Ask God and then remember to thank!
Do not be anxious about
anything. Instead, in every situation,
through prayer and petition with
thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.
-Philippians 4:6
It's really awesome to ask God for something,
believe Him for it,
and then watch Him answering us!
SO WHATEVER YOU NEED-no matter how great or small
GO AHEAD AND ASK!
BE A GREAT ASKER!
